CLASSES
We are excited to announce our new simplified and flexible system for classes! - Drop-in option; start any time, pay by the class
- Monthly option; pay on the first of
the month and save!
DROP IN The drop-in option allows you to join at any time; especially valuable for
puppies, no need to wait for a class start date to roll around. Plus, you can attend when your schedule (and budget!) allows.
Each class level has basic skills which, when mastered, equip you to move on to the next level. How long you remain at each
level depends on you, your dog, and how much the skills are incorporated into your daily life, but averages are on individual
class listings. This unique approach ensures that you only pay for the classes you need. Once you have successfully
completed Foundation Skills 1 & 2, you may move into any class you wish. MONTHLY PAY To make it easier for returning
students, on the first of every month, we offer a discount if you pay for the whole month. It doesn't matter how many
weeks in the month, if you pay the Monthly tuition for that class, you get a discount.Check the Calendar page for schedule
and tuition fees. We hope you enjoy the flexibility this innovative option provides!

Our basic class content is modeled after the International Association of Canine Professionals' standards.
These standards were developed as a means of outlining minimum standards for pet dog classes. We have modified them slightly,
relaxing some skills which we feel are not critical to a well behaved pet, and adding others we (and our students) have found
to be very useful. Only Foundation Skills 1 & 2 have "graduation" requirements.
This is primarily to ensure that you and your dog have the necessary skills in place to build on. Otherwise, any further training
would be more frustrating than fun. The skills needed to advance from Foundation Skills 1 into 2 and from 2 into any of our
other class offerings are listed on each classes' page. If you have any questions regarding our classes, contact us by
phone or email, and we will answer them promptly. As always, you are welcome to drop by to observe a class you are interested
in taking.
Socialize, learn to manage your pup properly to prevent problems from arising, and
how to deal with any issues you are already facing. Your puppy is learning right now! Get started early and make life smoother
for both of you! For complete class cirriculum, click on class name.

Rally is one of the fastest growing dog sports. It is fun and relaxed, allowing you to speak to your dog
all during competition. But it has it's challenges, and this class will prepare you to showcase the teamwork between you
and your dog in Rally. For complete class cirriculum, click on class name.
Competitive obedience remains the standard of a well trained dog. It is very
rewarding and exciting to build that partnership with your dog, then put it to the test of objective judging. If this is your
interest, you may join at any time! For complete class cirriculum, click on class name.

Conformation Handling
Bring your new pup, brush up an adult, or hone your handling skills
with a non-show dog. Novice handlers are welcome! Our focus is on teaching you (if you need it) and your dog what the show
ring is all about, and keeping it FUN for your dog. A dog bored
with endless running in circles is never going to do you proud in the ring; learn what
makes your dog tick, & how to use that in the ring. Clicker training works beautifully for conformation; it allows you
to tell your dog what you want in a clear (to them) way. Although not required, we encourage this method & can help you
get started with it. 30 min. class - $5
