The primary focus of Puppy K is problem prevention; building desirable habits into your pup. But if you are already experiencing problems, it is much easier to correct things now than to wait another several months! Remember, dogs get better at what they practice....

Childs Block Rotating

Puppies are constantly learning...
what are you teaching?

  • large breed pups 8-16 weeks (up to 4 months)
  • small & toy breed pups 8-20 weeks (up to 5 months)
Key elements are:
  • Temperament training including bite inhibition, tolerating handling & restraint, & early self control;
  • Socialization skills (to people & dogs);
  • Basic positions- how to teach sit, down, come here...
Plus ground exercises that increase coordination, confidence, & jumping skills, making an excellent foundation for any future competitive venue. When puppies learn how to learn, you have a foundation you can build on for the life of your dog. Puppies are constantly learning; be aware of what you are teaching! You may keep your pup in this class until the age cut-off, at which time your instructor will assist you in selecting the most appropriate class to move into.

First class of the month, $75 covers the whole month;

Drop-in, $20 per class
